Renovation The Hall is in need of renovation in several areas and over the past 3 years the Hall committee has been striving to raise funds to get as many of these projects completed. We have so far completely renovated the Kitchen bringing it up to the Hygiene standards required to prepare food for functions held at the Hall. We have begun on the men's toilet by replacing the old china urinal and cistern with a new stainless steel trough and fitted a sensor so the unit only flushes when in use. This has greatly reduced the problem of damp in the toilet and in the foyer. The whole interior of the Hall has now been decorated by community services. The Disabled toilet has been completed and the floor laid. The entrance has been cladded and decorated and the floor has now been done here too. The toilets have been decorated and new dispensers and bins have been put in place also new mirrors and lighting. The Bar area ceiling has been artexed and new lighting put up here too. The new double glazed windows have now been installed at the front of the Hall doing away with the unsightly boarding, and what a difference it makes! |
